A five-minute weekly self-check-in

23 July 2026 · 3 min read

Daily check-ins catch the moment. A weekly one catches the arc. Five quiet minutes at the end of the week is enough to feel where you have been.

Look back gently

Glance at the week you just logged. Which days ran light, which ran heavy, and does anything obvious connect them? You are not building a case, just noticing the shape.

Ask three soft questions

Set one small intention

Not a resolution, an intention. One tiny, kind thing to try: a walk on the heavy day, an earlier bedtime, a message to a friend. Small and specific beats big and vague every time.

Then close it. The point of a weekly check-in is not to fix your life in five minutes. It is to stay on speaking terms with yourself.
