Jelly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 July 2026
The short version: Jelly does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything you put into Jelly stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no servers. The app works fully offline.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Jelly mobile app ("the app"), published by Italiya Labs ("we", "us"). It explains exactly what the app does and does not do with information.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, or have access to any personal information or usage data. We have no servers and no accounts, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent, and we never see it.

What the app stores on your device

Everything you create in Jelly (mood check-ins, journal notes, tags, your chosen companion, and settings) is saved in a private database on your own device. This data:

Network use

The app makes no network requests to function. Fonts and all assets are bundled inside the app, so it works fully offline. Because nothing is sent over the internet, there is no data "in transit" to encrypt or intercept.

Backups you control

Jelly lets you export your entries to a backup file and import them again. If you choose to create a backup, that file is created by you, saved wherever you put it, and controlled entirely by you. We never receive it, and Jelly cannot access a backup after it leaves the app.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any external service.

Permissions

The app requests only what it needs to work locally, for example, permission to post notifications (for reminders) and, if you use backup/restore, access to the file you choose. It does not request access to your contacts, location, or microphone, and it has no advertising or tracking permissions.

Children

Jelly does not collect data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no third-party content.

A note on wellbeing

Jelly is a personal wellbeing journal, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor any medical or mental-health condition, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
